Our girl Pearl Charles releases her new album ”Sleepless Dreamer”
Pearl Charles has a je ne sais quoi we can’t explain. Her presence gives us a calm semblance as her velvety voice takes us through her highs and lows. In her new album, “Sleepless Dreamer,” she is settled in being unsettled, content in being restless.
We got a chance to sit down with this lovely lady--check out her interview and be smitten, we definitely were.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California
Has there been a life experience that you would say has affected your music?
My music is very autobiographical, so I try to draw inspiration from every aspect of my life!
If you were to describe Sleepless Dreamer in three words, what would they be?
Always restlessly searching.
What do you want people to take away from your new album?
I hope to give people the range of emotion I feel when listening to my favorite music! Whether it's joy, sadness, or anything in between. I just want to be able to evoke feeling in people.
What’s the number one played song on your playlist?
“I Love L.A.” by Randy Newman according to Spotify!
If an alien came to earth, and you had to show them one song only, which song would you show them?
It would probably have to be “Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft” by The Carpenters. Listen here.

Festival season is in full swing and we can’t stop thinking about what we want to pack! So we called on one of our fellow bohemian babes, Eva Catherine, to share what she’s taking with her this festival season! What are you bringing, gypsies?
